Where can I read official Chinese cross-border e-commerce policy, and which official reports exist? in detail
Read policy in the original text on the issuing body's website. We opened and confirmed these official pages: the State Taxation Administration policy database, the State Post Bureau policy section, and the Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission policy section. The latest official report we found is the China E-Commerce Report (2024), posted 2025-10-22 on the national e-commerce public service site (reprinted from the China International Electronic Commerce Center). State Council replies are on gov.cn.
- Applies to
- Overseas buyers and sourcing agents who want to check Chinese cross-border e-commerce rules at the source.

Where it is published
All links are on Chinese government sites; pages are in Chinese.
What it means for buyers
- If a supplier cites a policy, ask for the document number and issuing body, then check it on the sites above.
- Do not rely on screenshots or reposts alone.
Still uncertain
Not confirmed this time because the pages could not be opened: the State Council policy library; Ministry of Commerce policy pages and the e-commerce department; General Administration of Customs notices and statistics pages; commerce department sites of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong and Jiangsu. We did not check whether a 2025 edition of the report exists.
This page is general information from Chinese government websites, not an official answer.
