Sold under IOSS but your EU buyer was charged VAT on delivery? Check in this order

In forceOfficial textChecked
Answer

Check that the IOSS number reached the declaration and is valid. If VAT was charged twice, the buyer reclaims it from the seller with the customs payment proof, and the seller removes the sale from its IOSS return.

Applies to
Sellers and platforms using IOSS for goods to EU consumers in consignments with intrinsic value up to €150.
